About the project

The 1927 building, designed in the modernist style with an expansive steel and glass platform hall, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and has undergone a thorough modernization in recent years. One of the key elements of the project was the restoration and renovation of the platform hall's glazing. The steel roof structure was complemented with large-scale glazing, providing natural light to the platform spaces. This allows the hall's interior to retain a visual lightness despite the building's large scale and highlights the historical character of the steel structure.
